GLENSIDE GOLFER GETS HOLE-IN-ONE AT UCP BENEFIT GOLF TOURNAMENT
(Philadelphia, July 1, 2008)Rich Gerhard, of Glenside, hit a hole-in-one at the recent United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) Benefit Golf Tournament held at the North Hills Country Club, in North Hills, PA. Over 80 golfers took part in the event, which raised $80,000 for UCP services in the Delaware Valley. The foursomes consisted of representatives from area businesses, many of whom were sponsors of the event.
Gerhard is a member at North Hills and is one of the owners of Gerhard Appliances. This was the first hole-in-one to occur at a tournament at North Hills in over 40 years. In addition to his bragging rights, Gerhard also won a Jeep Wrangler, courtesy of Family Chrysler Jeep of Chadds Ford.
