By helping parents fight for their child's right to a qualiity education, modify a home to accommodate a wheelchair, or make ends meet when medical expenses become overwhelming, UCP helps make families’ lives a little better. While government dollars support some of our programs, UCP's community social services program primarily relies on support from individuals. A donation to UCP helps improve the quality of life for someone living with a disability.
Fundraising efforts are made year-round to secure individual, corporate, and foundation support. You can make a donation today, attend one of our special events, join the Circle of Friends or the Young Leadership Board, establish or contribute to a Family Support Fund, contribute to UCP at your workplace, or consider a variety of planned giving tools.
United Cerebral Palsy is one of the most financially responsible organizations in the nation. Every dollar raised by UCP of Philadelphia & Vicinity helps people with disabilities and their families living in the Delaware Valley. At least 85 cents of every dollar raised is spent directly on programs and services, a claim that few other organizations can make.
