It will be a memorable evening of classic automobiles,
delicious food and drinks at the 2008 UBS Motor Cars Under
the Stars at historic Cairnwood in Bryn Athyn, PA. Sponsored
by UBS Financial Services, the Philadelphia Area Jaguar
Dealers and the Land Rover Retailers of the Delaware Valley,
this event consistently attracts close to 700 attendees.
Proceeds will be used to support United Cerebral Palsy's
Family Resource Services that provide support to families
when they have unexpected emergencies or need to acquire
assistive technology or adaptive equipment. Guests will
stroll the grounds of industrialist John Pitcairn's estate
and view a spectacular display of classic automobiles
from private collections, along with modern-day classics
from Jaguar and Land Rover.

for a great day of golf on Monday, June 23rd at North Hills Country
Club in North Hills to benefit United Cerebral Palsy. Once again,
under the leadership of Frank Corace, Valley Forge Asset Management/
Susquehanna Wealth Management has signed on as the Presenting Sponsor
of the day. Organizers and volunteers are in the midst of planning
the day's activities which will include yes, lots of golf, dinner
and a live and silent auction featuring a variety of sports memorabilia,
autographed items and donated rounds of golf at area courses. This
year, we will welcome Philadelphia 76ers President and General Manager
Ed Stefanski for cocktails and dinner. You won't want to miss it!

Ron and Evie Krancer are making plans to welcome everyone
to the Meadowlands Country Club in Blue Bell for the brand
new UCP Golf & Tennis Classic set for Tuesday, July 15,
2008. Organizers promise lots of exciting twists and turns
to the tournament that will help move the day along in a
speedy fashion. Corporate Sponsors will receive the services
of a "fore caddy," who will help locate errant golf balls
and guide their foursome through any roughs. If golf isn't
your game, you can sign up to play tennis. You will enjoy
a day of quality play and competitive matches. We have also
made sure that none of our Classic participants will go
hungry-Bonefish Grill and Outback Steakhouse Restaurants
will be serving specialties straight from their menus, both
on the greens and on the courts.

November 10, 2007: Over $270,000 raised
On November
10th, more than 400 guests experienced "The Roaring Twenties"
at the 2007 Fantasy Auction. The evening, which honored Pennsylvania
House Speaker Dennis O'Brien for his commitment to children
with disabilities, was a fundraising success. The Ad Book alone
raised a record-breaking $100,000, contributing to the event's
total net revenue of over $275,000 to benefit children and adults
with disabilities at UCP.
The
Ad Book, Auction, and Underwriting Committees secured tremendous
support for the event under the leadership of Gala Chairpersons

In its 21st year,
the All Star Labor Classic has broken its fundraising goal
by netting over $140,000 for United Cerebral Palsy. Thousands
of fans filled the Fieldhouse at St. Joseph's University
to watch the area's best high school seniors (boys and girls)
match talents in two "city vs. suburbs" basketball
games. The day also included an exhibition game between
an Organized Labor and Media All Star teams, cheerleaders,
an appearance by Radio Sponsor Power 99's Eddie F and his
crew, contests, prize give-aways and more. In addition to
benefiting children and adults with disabilities in the
Delaware Valley, this event awards scholarships to the student
athletes for their continuing education. UCP appreciates
the strong commitment Philadelphia's Organized Labor has
made to this event. We would like to especially acknowledge

OH
WHAT A NIGHT!!!
Close to 1,400 participants lined up for this year's
UCP 5K Corporate Run/Walk. Under
sunny skies teams representing over 40 Philadelphia
area companies, as well as individual runners and
walkers gathered on the steps of the Philadelphia
Museum of Art for the five-kilometer (3.1 mile) race.
In addition to a beautiful route along the river,
there was lots of fun and food on the plaza.

were awarded in individual and team categories. Here

racers cooled off at the first official event After
Party hosted by UCP’s Young Leadership Board (YLB)

Volunteering
Your Time - UCP has many different kinds of volunteer
opportunities. We are looking for people to volunteer at special
events like our Fantasy Auction or our Golf Tournaments, as well
as to volunteer at UCP in our Recreation, Children's Services, or
Development Departments!
