UCP Bids Farewell to Bill Peterson

Staff and Adult service clients gathered in the cafeteria this morning with cards and many hugs as they bid farewell to a very loyal and dedicated member of the UCP staff, Bill Peterson. After being with United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia for 25 years, Bill will be retiring, his last day on Friday, September 2, 2011. Bill first started here back in October 6, 1986 as an Office Manager in Residential. He has touched so many lives over the years and will be missed greatly. Bill Peterson comments on leaving, “It’s a very sad and hard thing to do, 25 years here is a long time and these clients have been such a huge part of my life. I will miss them as much as they will miss me, if not more.”
