On Wednesday, June 13, 2012 Citizens Bank Park will host UCP Motor Cars showcasing a collection of classic automobiles and motorcycles curated by internationally recognized photographer Michael Furman.

Join us to see them for yourself and to celebrate Drew Hawkins, Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney — this year's recipient of the UCP Life Without Limits Award — in recognition of his legacy of caring and generosity of spirit for persons with disabilities. Andy Reid, Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles will also be honored with a framed Michael Furman poster for his work with children in the community.

Karen and Stewart Cohen will serve as the Honorary Chairs for the evening, which will also include hors d'oeuvres, dinner, drinks and dancing as well as live and silent auctions. Guests will also enjoy behind the scenes tours of the locker rooms, visits from the Philly Phanatic, and unique experiences that only Citizens Bank Park could offer. Celebrity Honoree Andy Reid will also be on-hand mingling with guests. 

All proceeds benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia & Vicinity and its mission to positively affecting the quality of life for persons with cerebral palsy and other physical and developmental disabilities.

The Auction

Along with the Cars, the evening features live and silent auctions of more than 400 items ranging from vacations to sporting events and golf packages. 

The auction began in 1988 as a separate event and ran for 22 years. Created by the Tabas family, the auctions were historically held on the first Saturday of November at the Hilton on City Line Avenue. In 2011, the Auction merged with Motor Cars, culminating in one of the region’s most exciting and unique events and sponsorship opportunities. 

BidPal will be a unique addition to this year’s auction. Guests will be able to use unique, handheld interactive BidPal controllers to bid on silent auction items throughout the evening. BidPal sponsorships are available, which puts your brand and its message in the hands of many of our region’s business and nonprofit leaders.
