Roseann C. Schaaf, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, Vice Chairman and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Graduate Studies in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University and Ms. Audrey Zapletal, MS, OTR/L, Instructor at the University will provide updates on sensory integration theory. They will examine the evidence supporting the use of sensory integration within the context of the eductational environment. Dr. Schaaf will discuss her research with the new Fidelity to Treatment Instrument. The speakers will offer practical "take-home" activities that can be helpful to the child's team (Speech, Physical, Occupational Therapists, Educators).
