SEPTA CCT is in the midst of an intergration of an 18 million dollar upgrade to its paratransit communication system. Major system components include reservation and scheduling software; mobile data computers with GPS-based automatic vehicle locators for the entire CCT Connect fleet; and a new Interactive Voice Response phone system that will enable customers to schedule and cancel rides at any time during the day, without speaking to a reservationist. To inform and update agencies of the specifics of the new system, SEPTA CCT has scheduled a series of meetings. The meeting at UCP is the last meeting date before CCT transitions the remaining CCT Connect ride files to the new scheduling system.
