Over 1,200 participants are expected to gather on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a five kilometer (3.1 mile) run/walk along Martin Luther King Drive. Area companies are encouraged to register teams to participate in this annual event, while individual registrations are also accepted. Athletes of all levels and abilities are welcome. John Clark, NBC 10 News Weekend Sports Anchor, will serve as Grand Marshall of the event and LifeSport Fitness Resource Center will lead the warm-up, which begins at 6:15 pm. With special support from our Regional Rail Marketing Sponsor, The Graham Company , and T-Shirt Sponsor, my CIO Wealth Partners, LLC, the 2009 UCP 5K Corporate Run/Walk promises to be the best yet!

The same UCP 5K, but with a whole lot more!
This year, we have added a new way for you to support the event--becoming a UCP 5K Fundraiser where you can choose to create your own fundraising page and use an online tool to reach out to friends, family, and colleagues, asking for their support as you raise money for United Cerebral Palsy programs. You do not need to become a fundraiser to register and race. If you would like to do both, you will have a chance to sign up as a 5K Fundraiser at the end of the registration process.
You can also register offline. Once you print the registration brochure, available here as a PDF file, complete the form and mail it in with your registration fee.
To fund raise without participating in the race, sign up to become a UCP 5K Fundraiser.
