Pre-K Counts

PA Pre-K Counts, established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, provides high quality pre-kindergarten to three- and five-year-old children across the commonwealth. UCP is able to offer 24 Pre-K Counts slots to families who live in Philadelphia, through a partnership with the School District of Philadelphia. Pre-K Counts is designed for children who are at risk of school failure, either because of income (300% above the federal poverty level, or a family of four earning $69,150), language (English is not the first language), cultural or disability-related issues.  Contact Family Service Coordinator, Maria Rossman by email mrossman@ucpphila.org or call 215-242-4200 ext 230.
