COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE: Assist in the development and implementation of UCP’s visual and online communications message with respect to its mission, programs, and fundraising efforts. Responsibilities include: press releases, interaction with media regarding UCP mission, special events and activities, online giving, and online registration for specific events. Coordinate layout, design, content, and production of agency and department printed materials including: newsletters, event and agency brochures & posters, annual report, ad and tribute programs, display ads, invitations, signage, forms, stationary, special mailings, t-shirts, etc. Preferred Computer skills: Windows XP, Microsoft Office, MAC publishing programs, Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and Donor Perfect. PART TIME PROGRAM ASSISTANT: Assist in a variety of activities including personal care assistance on Thursday and Friday evenings 6:00-9:00 PM plus Saturdays as scheduled. Requires H.S. diploma and reliable transportation as all weekend activities are held in the community. Paid or volunteer experience with person with disabilities preferred. PROGRAM SPECIALIST: Coordinate Support Plans and Quality of Life for 30 physically disabled individuals in 10 Philadelphia CLA's. Emphasis on comminity intergration. Hours are 10AM-6PM - sometimes later. On call every 3rd weekend. Require good organizational, writing and communications skills. SPEECH THERAPIST: Full time position available including opportunities to work in our center-based and community-based programs with children ages 3 to 5 and in our home-based program serving families with children ages birth to three.
