UCP of Philadelphia & Vicinity provides direct care and support services to thousands of adults, children and their families living in the Delaware Valley. The organization began in 1946 when a group of parents set out to improve the lives of their children who had been born with cerebral palsy. Today UCP serves people with a variety of disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, Down Syndrome, head trauma, stroke and spinal cord injury.
